Photography has been a fascination of mine since I was a child. The beauty of holding a photograph of someone you love, the power it has to evoke memories and emotions, and how images of past and present connect us to those we love the most.

I started off on a very different career path, training as a lawyer and eventually working in a legal speciality involving children. I took up photography again as a creative outlet during this time and very quickly the obsession with portrait photography grew and grew.
I now take classic, simple and elegant portraits of children on their own, with siblings and with their mothers in my home studio in Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin.
