Where do the sessions take place?
In my home studio in Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin
What should we wear?
It is an important question because the clothes worn in photographs do impact the final look. However it is not something to worry about.
Neutral colours like navy, beige, taupe, grey, soft yellows work really well.
AVOID clothes that stand out and demand visual attention - by this I mean sports strips, tops with cartoon characters, anything with stripes or bold logos. The rule of thumb is to wear clothes that are just neutral and soft. Anything with texture photographs beautifully - ribbed jumpers, wool, lace, frill. Trousers should be just jeans or plain cotton trousers.
Above all choose clothes your children are comfortable in and that are 'them'.
I will give you more detailed guidance and ideas on clothing prior to your session.
How else do I prepare for the session?
The most important thing is to reassure yourself that there is nothing to be nervous about. Other than that just make sure all the children are well rested and well fed.
How and when will we see our photographs?
Approximately 2-3 weeks after your session you will receive an online gallery showcasing your final images and a slideshow of the highlights. The gallery will be available for 1 week, during which all you have to do is decide which ones you love and wish to purchase.
Do you sell digital files only?
Yes. Images are purchased by choosing one of my Digital Portrait Collections, of either 10 portraits, 15 portraits or the full Gallery of 20 plus portraits.
Many then add on beautiful printed products such as Wall Frames, Gift Prints and/or a Keepsake Print Box.
Portraits are printed on the highest quality photographic paper, protected and elevated by beautiful card mats, tucked in to a luxurious Keepsake Print Box or enlarged and framed for the wall.
When portraits are printed they can be enjoyed in a completely different tangible way, over and over again.
